Dr. Ildiko Laczko-KerrVice President of Academics
Ildi is an experienced school improvement leader having worked in Scottsdale Unified School District for nearly seven years. There she was responsible for overseeing the implementation of the District’s K-12 curriculum and assessment programs, Title I and English Acquisition departments as well as the student information management system. Ildi helped train and coach teachers and administrators in the implementation of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs); Scottsdale is now in their fourth year. Prior to working in Scottsdale, Ildi was the Deputy Associate Superintendent for Research and Evaluation for the Arizona Department of Education. There she worked to collaboratively develop Arizona’s school accountability models AZ LEARNS and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Throughout her career, she has advocated for the need for all stakeholders ( teachers, administrators and the public) to have access to relevant and timely assessment results that can be used to drive instruction and professional development. She has used her knowledge and understanding of data analysis to coach others to interpret assessment and accountability data. She has supported thousands of professionals to identify and address student achievement gaps through the use of data analysis and the implementation of research-based best practices, interventions and enrichments.
